WHO WE ARE
Partners in Education (PIE) is a group of parents, community members, business owners, and alumni representing the communities of Parma, Parma Heights and Seven Hills.
We believe that strong public schools equal strong communities. We lead this charge to benefit all PCSD students, families, and businesses in the communities we serve because it’s the right thing to do.
In addition to this committee, you’ll find our membership involved in various outreach programs throughout the district.
We encourage collaborating with support groups and the Parma City Schools to provide the greatest opportunities for our students.
Partners in Education is independent of the Parma City Schools.
By law, a school district cannot use district funds to finance any campaign that encourages direct support for a proposed levy. A district can only pay for campaign material to explain the consequences of passage or failure of a levy.
PIE helps to finance campaigns that directly support proposed levies. As a group independent of the District, we are able to pay for campaign materials, advertising and other efforts that urge direct support for proposed levies.
